BRTC says the programme is being introduced as part of the implementation of the government’s election manifesto. The official launch is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, at the BRTC Dhaka Truck Depot in Tejgaon.
Initially, 10 buses will operate on different important routes in Dhaka. Four more Pink Bus Service in Bangladesh will operate outside the capital, including two in Bogura and two in Chattogram.

The Mirpur Bus Depot will operate buses between Mirpur and Motijheel.

Mohammadpur to Motijheel Route
Another important route under the new service will connect Mohammadpur with Motijheel.
The bus will travel through Mohammadpur, Shankar, Dhanmondi-15, City College, New Market, Elephant Road, Shahbagh and Paltan before reaching Motijheel.

Abdullahpur to Motijheel Route
The Joarsahara Bus (Pink Bus Service in Bangladesh) Depot will manage the Abdullahpur-Motijheel route.

A bus will operate from Gazipur to the airport under the Gazipur Bus Depot.
The route will include Gazipur, Shiv Bari, Gazipur Chowrasta, Maleker Bari, Board Bazar, Gazipura, College Gate, Station Road, Abdullahpur and Ashpur before reaching the airport.
This route will be useful for passengers travelling between Gazipur and the airport area.
Pink Bus Service in Bogura
The new service will also be introduced in Bogura.
Two buses are planned for the Sherpur-Matidhali route. This means the special women-operated service will not be limited to the capital.

Chattogram will also receive two buses under the new service.
The buses will operate on the Kalurghat-Patenga route.
