Three members of the Bangladesh Air Force were killed and at least four others were injured in a road accident at the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The accident happened while the Air Force members were on duty at the airport. The injured personnel were taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment. Three of the injured are reportedly in serious condition.
According to a source familiar with the incident, the accident took place at around 10:20pm on Monday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) confirmed that all three people who died in the accident were members of the Bangladesh Air Force. Several others were also injured.

What Happened at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport?
The accident occurred on the flyover near the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Airport Police Inspector (Operations) Sharif Hossain said the Air Force pickup van lost control while travelling on the flyover. The vehicle then fell from the flyover, causing the fatal accident.
Police were working to gather more information about the incident.

The injured Air Force personnel were taken to the Combined Military Hospital for medical care.
Three of them were reported to be in critical condition. Doctors were treating the injured while authorities continued to assess the situation.
